Why aren't tech people creative?
Other fields like medicin and law produce artists and writers.
Renaissance men were engineers and writers both.
Does this field only attract people with no other interests in life?
Because internet holds our souls captive.

I'm too busy fucking my waifu to be creative
Tech is so demanding that a Renaissance Man hobbyist of leisure is unlikely to be competitive.
Successful techies live and breathe tech.

What do you think this site and others like it are? What of the old textfile archives and bbs logs? Shitposting and dank memes are our way of expressing ourselves artistically, some may call it crude but the same could be said of most poetry, art and literature. Maybe one day old 4chan posts and rare pepes will be revered and studied as part of the blossoming of the middle digital Renaissance.
I would wager more has been written about more subjects in the last 10 years than in the entire history of the human species and that this trend will continue for decades to come.
Do not forget either that within our lifetimes an entirely new medium, founded purely in the digital realm, has matured from primitive entertainment for children to highly refined and moving expressions of the human condition.

This is the feeling I have with anime and manga
The tech field is yet too young for that, wait some other decades.
