Mint is not better than Ubuntu.
Asking the question "Mint of X" means Mint is the best for you anyway.

Go openSuSE, but be careful it doesn't stand dual booting as well as mint or ubuntu does. It will probably fuck up your efi if not the entire MBR if you don't know what you are doing.
