games alone can hit 50-60gb. add in a large FLAC library, tv shows, and true HD movies, and you can easily hit multiple terabytes

Just remember to give proper credit when posting freedoms-respecting images such as that :)

This shit right here. I kept up with multiple shows for the past few months using HorribleSubs and no matter what, I mean no matter what, the video was always blurry. I couldn't figure out if that was some chink art styling or if HS is just bad at ripping from Crunchyroll.
>>58234526
yes
>>58234162
It's not an achievement, why are you so proud moron.
I miss physical media...
>>58234597
That's nothing faggot. Right now I have just over 9TB movies, 5TB TV shows, 3TB music, a 2TB drive almost full of games, and then the rest of my crap on a 1TB internal drive. Get on my level
Most people download tons of crap because they 'need it'.
Just like my parents built a massive library of books that they read 1 time or never, but they 'needed it'.
When you start hoarding that shit you not gonna stop.

Fan-Subbers are literally just bad at encoding.
>B-but muh quality.
This is a meme and delusion in the anime community and you're retarded for believing so. Fansub groups are so up their own ass about shit like quality and encoding that they have no idea how it actually works, just a loose grasp about how the programs work and their own ideas.
Retards like you are the reason some of the first copies of Eva 3.33 were 12 Gigs.
>>58234505
There aren't as many subbers nowadays :/
HS is usually the only choice.

>>58234648
Basically that.
And people opting for memes like ''''''''lossless''''''' audio etc. The studio cans are different from what I've got at home but not different enough to warrant up to 800 dollars in difference etc.
People just enjoy memes. Filling your HD up with 4k episodes of the walking dead is a meme and keeping every single one is a meme, your life is a meme, kys.
Practice better habits for yourself and clean up as you go and maintain lose ties to shit you don't need and keep everything you do need in pristine condition.
>b-but i NEED 1080p anime, b/c I have conditioned myself to not derive 0.0005 extra ml of dopamine when seeing it in 720p even though the entire fucking thing is animated at 14fps or less with only one moving object in the scene most times or scene animation copypasted between animes for common scenes.
tl;dr you're faggots, kill yourselves
But your idiocy makes the world go around and greases the wheels of the economy and I probably wouldn't have great deals on year old memes if you didn't fund the overpriced frontier of these things for me.
>inb4 snarky meme reply blah blah because your personality is also copied meme.

Critical records - 3GB
Systems infrastructure - ENV1 - 400GB - ENV2 - 1.5TB
Plex library - 16TB
The critical records are backed up in 4 different places both on and off site.
Critical infrastructure is backed up to USB drives rotated off-site for ENV1, and LTO6 for ENV2.
Plex is essentially on RAID 5. Just enough to protect from a disk failure.
