Enable VSync.

It depends on your setup, but I'm running xorg-server 1.17 with proprietary nvidia graphics drivers (340), and using OpenGL vsync with compton completely fixes my screen tearing.

I saw it just now. Just a little bit. hmm. And was that a bit of a stutter when the motion was panning from one side of the screen to the other?

Guess we'll be watching the movie on the PS4 again, eh?
>>
>>58221909
What?
>>

>>58221921

He's being autistic.
I don't have any tearing when I'm watching my silky smooth 60 fps cartoons with mpv.
>>
>>58221921
shhh

It's just easier.
>>
>>58221960
That looks really low resolution, anon. It's really blurry and pixelated as well. Kind of lame, I'm gonna go back to watching on my pc, dude.
>>
>>58221959
You still have it. Every little once in a while. In a very important scene. A quick pan during an action sequence. There it is. It's still tearing. You're terrible with computers.
>>
I use windows 10, Windows phone, office suite, Microsoft edge and One Drive with an Xbox One. Hello unity.
>>
>>58221973
Better to have nothing work than some things work, at least you're never disappointed!
>>
A while back I somehow managed to get a blu-ray player to start tearing while playing back a commercial blu-ray. It was quite depressing.
>>
>>58221971

And you're terrible at life, might as well end it.

Everything and the kitchen sink, right, Linus?

See you in the next thread bragging about how secure against the """botnet""" your stock Arch Linux installation that doesn't even have a fucking firewall is.

Not that Linux can't be secure, but you faggots wouldn't bother to make it happen.
