Just buy a used x220 or t420 for €/$ off craigslist/ebay and/or beef with with extra ram and/or SSD.

My x220 was € 150 + 250GB SSD and 2x8Gb ram extra, works perfect.

I think so. I really like this one, it does everything I need and has never given me any issues. It was a great find for $100 bucks too.

What do you intend to use it for? Programming?if so then Its got more than enough oomph. An SSD would also help overall performance a good amount if you were to make any changes.

I put an ssd into a Toshiba with a baytrail and it does what I need it to do. Anything serious and I just use my desktop.

They're great little machines. I own one and so do my kids. Great for linux too.

No. 50% of laptop usage is watching porn. Old/cheap Lenovos will likely have awful screens.
