And I enabled those "real nigga hours" to update windows in the middle of the nights too, what happened?

OP specifically said he enabled automatic updates in the middle of the night

OP, it probably happened because your laptop was off or hibernating and Windows can't turn itself on. Use sleep instead if you want night time updates.
