I'm a ayymdrone and the moment I saw a 970ssc on sale for $280 where every other was $330 (as well as the 390s.), I picked one up and didn't have to deal with overhead driver memes or upgrading to a 1060/480 because it competes well at 1550/3500 clock speeds.
