If I'm not a pedo, >hacker and I don't do shady shit on my win10, why would I be mad at botnet?

inb4 >normie, >shill

Seriously why do people care?

Really makes me think.
>>
You are browsing 4chan.
That's shady enough for me to turn down your job application after i have gotten my hands on your browsing history details from Microsoft for "advertising research".
>>
>>58175975
I don't care about botnet but forced updates drive me fucking crazy. I want to be able to actually control my own fucking computer which I bought with my own hard earned money.
Crazy, I know.
>>
>>58175993

That's actually quite smart, but i don't think that any employer in my shitty country would even think about it, even if they did, they probably don't know what 4chin is.
>>
Why don't you install cameras in all your rooms covering every angle and livestream it for us to watch? I mean, you have nothing to hide, do you?
>>
>>58175975
Because you still got stuff to hide like your credit card numbers and other shit. And even the porn you watch and websites you visit.

Cardinal Richelau once said "Give me 3 lines written by the most honest and good person and I will find something to hang him for"

As >>58175993 is saying you could get in trouble for posting on /g/. People could go "This guy visits /g/ and look what is also posted there" and then they pull up drawings of half naked anime lolis. You can claim that you have nothing to do with that, but they still know that you are viewing these things.

The government can always find something you written to present you in a bad light. For example they could quote your thread and say

"OP wrote this on a forum for pedo hackers, some parts of what he written contains classified information and have therefore been censored, he wrote:

" I'm [...] a pedo, >hacker and I [...] do shady shit on my win10"

It is basically an admission of guilt."
>>
>>58176011
I don't have any problems with them as long as I change the "active hours" or some shit. They just install whenever I'm shutting down my pc. Can be annoying though.
>>
>>58175975
I don't trust my government so why should i trust a foreign private corporation?
>>
>>58176050
>>58176054

Valid point, but I think you're going too far with it.
>>
*if* i'm not a pedo
>>
>>58176093
>but I think you're going too far with it.

What makes you say that? That (and worse) has happened in 99.99% of all of human history. Even in western countries and even in modern times.
>>
>Seriously why do people care?

even though i technically don't do anything wrong, the fucking NERVE of these assholes to think monitoring my life is okay, is what bothers me
>>
>>58175993
I've recently been erroneously kicked out of a job after an audit, those retards mistook my IP for that of the yum repo mirror and said I was using 50gb of bandwidth every week with my browsing.

Once they realized their mistake, they said "wow there you've been browsing 4chan, it's part of the 'darknet' and there are people selling weapons in there". They actually called the police over this. So yes, while going on 4chan isn't enough to get into trouble, it can still be used as a pretext to make you lose your time. I got my job back, but those are three months of my life I'll never get back.

I've also once been randomly controlled by police in Europe. After some quick checks they found plenty unimportant stuff that pieces together could hint at terrorism: travelling in Asia, carrying a fully legal knife, enjoying hiking, being pictured next to a dead rabbit, and terrorism related articles in my newsfeed. I've been held for 16 hours and interrogated about every single aspect of my life, had my fingerprints taken, and almost my anus probed.

In general, if you spend enough time studying the life of just about anyone, you'll end up finding enough to accuse them on anything, and more than necessary to waste their time. That's something normies don't quite understand. The moment your life is under scrutiny, all those apparently ordinary facts about yourself become suspicious.

You don't want, you REALLY don't want anyone to know anything about you they could use against you, even the most ordinary of things. As someone often scrutinized I learned the best way is the most complete obscurity: the fact they have 'nothing' on you is certainly suspicious, but they won't bother you more than if they have something.
>>
>>58175975
Someone is exploiting you. You don't care about it?

Alright that was quite a lesson for me.
>>
If you dont care about privacy they take it from you
And they are going to take more than you have
Also if you dont care you fuck up everyone even if we care
>>
>>58175975
Maybe you have some inventions you want to patent or maybe you have some stuff you want to upload to wikileaks or maybe you're politically active.

OR just maybe you watched some very kinky porn and one day you want to became a small political figure like a mayor of a small town and all of a sudden your internet history appears in the press.
A snoopy NSA Bitch windows will fuck your life forever.

BUT if you're a normie that doesn't aspire to promote or get ahead in life, you shouldn't be worried at your mcds job BUT even so you're making a statement about yourself just by giving up your rights to privacy.
That statement is: my life's privacy is worthless, I don't have privacy and don't need it,anyone/everyone proceed as stated.
>>
>>58176136
>I've also once been randomly controlled by police in Europe.

I also been interviewed by the police here in Norway due to stuff I do on the internet. Mostly because I am a muslim I assume, but going on 4chan is a red flag for them even if it's not strictly illegal. And many people do illegal stuff like torrenting movies and so on which might get you in even more trouble if the government wants. It will make the government look a little extra on stuff you look at on the internet. Especially if you have some unusual political views or if there is some incentives by the police to get some kinds of people.

>After some quick checks they found plenty unimportant stuff that pieces together could hint at terrorism: travelling in Asia, carrying a fully legal knife, enjoying hiking, being pictured next to a dead rabbit, and terrorism related articles in my newsfeed.

They also found lots of legal stuff like that on me as well. They eventually figured out that it was nothing, but still takes a lot of time out of your life.

It's like that californian man who "did not have anything to hide" but still was forced to shit in a bucket in front of a bunch of people many times for many hours just because "he walked strange"

>>58175975

even if you have done nothing wrong it can still cause inconvenience and give you a lot of grief. The police and authorities might have some requirements they need to have X amount of people to interview every week and so on. And might take you in handcuffs from your work which later might cause you trouble at work and that sort of thing.
>>
>>58176257
The police might also threathen you and say stuff like "If you don't come voluntarily to another interview then we will tell your workplace that you have been logged on to facebook for 60% of the worktime" and similar stuff. They did threaten me like that, but they never followed through I don't think.
>>
>>58175975
>>58176257
>>58176286
Anyone who get analysed by the government is going to be surprised of all the shit they have done on the internet and never thought twice about. Stuff that looks perfectly normal and reasonable to you when you do it might be very uncomfortable when it gets dragged up by the government.

You think you have nothing to hide, but they can always find embarrassing shit to control you and even make you do work for them for free.

And it might inconvenience you a lot, for example maybe you said something about drugs at one point and your employer gets to know about it. Then you might have to take regular drug tests and if someone is going to be laid off then of course it's going to be the guy who forces them to do all these expensive tests. Not caring about privacy is stupid.
>>
"Not caring about privacy because you have nothing to hide is like saying you don't care about freedom of speech because you have nothing to say"
>>
>>58175975
Let's say you have a kink that is entirely legal, yet puts you in unfavourable social situation.
Eg. you like some sick shit like diapers and looking like a baby during sex. Completely legal, normal, kink like any other. What would happen on the other hand if this secret were to be spoiled and sent as an email to your coworkers.
You are trying to get a salary raise, or become a manager at your job. Do you think that this still would be possible in current masculinity image in the society if your secret were to be spoiled?

This is not even extreme example. What would happen if you felt down, eg. dumped by your gf because she isn't into babyplay. You feel down, you drink a lot, take some days off from your work. Police monitoring your shit sends people to your house, break the doors and forcefully take you to mental ward as they saw your chat history with your best friend where you implied you feel like hurting yourself.

Yada yada yada
>>
>>58175975
If you really don't care just install a cam in your bathroom and broadcast 24/7
>>
I will kill whoever hurt doggo
>>
>>58176136
>being pictured next to a dead rabbit
wut
>>
I blame Facebook and the rise of all these "social media" sites, when they realised people are so easily tricked by self-obsession and narcissism to reveal everything about themselves if given the chance they decided it would be profitable to listen. Now governments have caught on and people are having their own internet history used against them. Look at the cases in Germany of customs officers requesting Facebook chat logs and asking about normal conversations with people.

In a way the terrorists won because they gave the ultimate excuse for any privacy invasion possible. No one can disagree with stopping muh terrorism but it long ago ceased to be about anything other than mass scale spying.
>>
>>58176480
I call it "hunting" myself, only the police calls it "pictured next to a dead rabbit". Explaining the process of cleaning and cooking it also shocked them, they were like " wow this guy is a serial killer".

Though really one of the core issues is the idiocy of policemen and investigators, who now have even more information and tools on their hands which allows them to make their stupidity shine. The retards in question trusted LinkedIn with their lives, like whatever is on it is perfectly checked and verified. And it's why they released me, because "your LinkedIn profiles confirms your job and hobbies".

Fucking retards, all of them.
>>
>>58176136
>people selling weapons in there
Huh. And I thought people were just buying a new sink for a few thousand bucks.
>>
>>58176054
>>
>>58175975

Yeah you don't need privacy. It's fine.

Good goyim.
>>
>>58176347
That's totally not normal, you filthy pedo
>>
>>58176600
Maybe something else then. Maybe you have some extensive private collection of Pirate-Parrot porn pics. It would be easy to be the worlds biggest collector of this niche fetish. But it sounds weird if someone brings it up and says "anon has the world's biggest collection of pirate-parrot porn" nobody would listen if you say it's only like 100 pics.
>>
>>58176522
What country you in that they went through all this trouble to fuck you over?
Why do you think they tried to fuck you over?
>>
>>58176746
Netherlands.

They just didn't like a French guy on holidays there, because everyone knows the French are terrorists. I had been in Brussels just before too, another hot spot for terrorism. They didn't like me having taken pictures of shit there like a tourist would, which they called "spotting of high profile targets".
>>
>>58176787
>Netherlands
>bunch of faggots scared by hunting
Sounds about right.

Also
>hey anon lemme add you on facebook
>I don't have facebook
>oh boy oh gee, lemme explain to you what facebook is and why you should really make one, blah blah
Every time. Bitch I know what it is, I had one, I deleted it. I doubt they really delete it, but in any case, I have enough incriminating shit there already, no need to give them more.
>>
>>58177036
I have a facebook account just to avoid this:

>oh boy oh gee, lemme explain to you what facebook is and why you should really make one, blah blah

If they go there they will see my account with no friends, no pictures or anything and I never approve any friend requests and never really log in. That way people know I choose not to use it.
>>
>>58176136
>being pictured next to a dead rabbit
i like you
>>
Encouraging an NSA platform is reason enough to avoid Windows
>>
>>58175975
It's the principle.
