Sup /g/entoomen,
Have any of you had any experience with Panasonic's Let's Note laptops? Pic related looks like a comfy shitposting machine, for around only $250. The newer models look really nice too, but the starting prices are quite high.
>Does it run Linux well?
>Are there any compatability issues with the Japanese BIOS, keyboard, etc.
>Is it hard to find a charger for an American outlet?
>Battery life?
Hard to find any information on these things that isn't written in moon runes.
why does japanese tech looks nothing like their western equivalents?
even the latest let's note laptops look like an old piece of crap from the 90s, they should adopt the ultrabook design like the west

They look a e s t h e t i c, I kind of like it.
But yeah, don't understand why they haven't updated the design
just get a used thinkpad
same specs, easy to acquire

>they should adopt the ultrabook design like the west
You are what's wrong with laptop design. It's your shitty taste in things.

Already have 5 thinkpads, excellent laptops.
Theres something intriguing about the Let's Note though.

>hard to find a charger for an American outlet?
>he's never imported Moon shit
you just plug it in. Japanese and US power is very very similar and just werks
>>58168854
No company has gotten the ultrabook design right besides apple
>>58168854
Because they still manufacture a lot of stuff in Japan so they don't have to mass produce shit to make it profitable like we do in the US where everything is imported.

They still manufacturer a lot of shit in the US...
>>58168854
Fuck off kike.
>>58171851
Kek. The only shit that I know of that's made in the US is cutlery and grossly overpriced clothing.
Panasonic build quality is incomparable, especially laptops.
Toughbook CF-C2 is what you're looking for senpai.
