Hey /g/, I'm having a really weird issue right now. I just got a new Acer monitor and am trying to set up a dual screen display. The second monitor registers on the device manager and I've installed the proper driver. It also says there are two displays in my Nvidia control panel. However, I'm not getting any signal from the display. I've reinstalled my drivers and am currently attempting to update Windows. I know windows 10 has display issues but my old display worked just fine albeit it was an older driver. When I go to resolution and display settings this is what I get. Any suggestions? Pic related is what I get in the settings
Is your monitor set to use the correct input, vga hdmi etc

Yeah dual-link DVI
I think you need to click on it in the display manager and select "extend desktop to this display". My monitors at work did this too.

I've already done that unfortunately, it seems it may be something else.
I don't mean to steal op's thread but the sticky seems to vilify people asking for technical help
I'm experiencing my display drivers randomly cutting out to black and they don't restore. So the screen cuts to black (monitor says no input), but sound and input from keyboard and mouse are all still good. We've used a different hdmi port and cord with sadly the same results. A beep noise like the pc detects a problem occurs immediately also after the black screen.
Any ideas? If it really is the display drivers i'm hoping i could set up a key sequence to manually restart should they fail again. All drivers have been updated also.
Any help would be appreciated.
