I'm poorfag that wants a sexy Linux distro.
Was thinking of buying a Chromebook then getting Solus but is a Chromebook ARM based?
Chromebooks are extremely light on computing power so don't really expect to do much outside of programming and surfing the web. They're great for fucking around though due to their cost.

for the same price as a chromebook you can get a powerfull thinkpad to install your Solus on. But Solus don't have many packages so a chromebook will likely be fine. But if you want something powerful for the money then go for a thinkpad.

A USED thinkpad that is... not a new one of course... Businesses gets rid of old thinkpads so you get a lot for your money.

some are, some aren't. you would have to loook up the specs for the specific chrome book you intend to get. another option is to use fedora. i believe they have a version that will run on ARM machines.
yep they do.

yes and no, chromebooks come in arm and x86 but as others have said for the same price you can get a refurb laptop with much better specs
