I guess i should also mention I make use of a private email server a lot of the time, as well as a VPN account. (Generally these go without saying IMO but feel free to chip in if you have a comment on that).

If you don't physically control the server or encrypt all the data this will not stop governments.

Freenet is really slow but would be really useful in a dystopian scenery. Tor and i2p are usually better options.

I do control the physical server and use encryption for most things. Since AT&T is my isp i heavily encrypt most things. My VPS is Netherlands-based but I'm considering moving it.

Private trackers, datalockers, previously usenet, some newer trackers that aren't 100% honeypots.

All of this is over VPN to a seedbox, of course. However I'm trying to move away from all of these if possible.
