Does /g/ have any recommended programs for learning foreign languages?
There are plenty of bullshit apps around these days that are next to useless for learning anything more than the absolute basics. I'd mostly be looking for something on mobile but if there are better options then I'm not opposed.

If you're trying to learn a language just watch a ton of subbed TV shows in that language and memorize vocabulary.
Grammar should be learned separately.
Also it helps a lot if you practice aloud.

I planned to do this somewhat but I figured that using a language program might help make sure I'm not fucking up

Anything in particular that makes it better than other options?

No, it's much easier to read the subtitles than to try understanding the spoken words. You will learn nothing this way.

The only non-shit software solution for learning foreign languages is Pimsleur. If not that, then go take a part in a student exchange program/get a foreign gf/get a GOOD coach.
Duolingo is a fucking meme. It's simply not good enough at this point and probably will never be.
