I've got one of them spare, its currently living under my desk drawers collecting dust.

I came today to post a thread like this one, I have 3 old laptops collecitng dust I don't recall the models but it's one toshiba and 2 HPs that were in the $500 range when I bought them 4, 6, and 8 years ago each.

My current laptop is a Toshiba satellite c55t- b5110, with touch screen, but one of the hinges broke a year ago and opening it and closing is slowly taking its toll on the case. Also recently it crashes every hour of use, which never happened in the last 2 years I've had it. It just began a week ago.

So basically I have 4 laptops, two of which won't turn on at all but the screen should be functional, and let's throw in another 3 smartphones that were bought in the $100 range 4 years ago laying around.

Any crafty DIY ideas on what I could do with all these parts?

I was thinking of doing something like pic related, and mounting all the screens together and maybe using the functional CPUs to specialize on certain tasks, but I don't know much about these things so I'm just saying jibberish.

So yeah, ideas?
