Just stack a couple of these.

Not being able to make your own for whatever reason doesn't mean something isn't overpriced. The upfront investment of a welding machine and training to use it makes it less cost effective.
Personally I've never paid attention to racks so I don't know if they are just welded metal of if they have some design considerations that makes them more expensive
