If I use custom CSS on youtube to set the ad-divs to display:none;, will the ads register and the youtuber get paid, or will they lose the ad revenue (as is the case with AdBlocker)?
And what about if I set height:0; or top:-10000px;?
Anyone into web development?

What's that?

well that's what we want to happen, so just keep using your ad-blocking addon

What do you mean? Is web development not a suitable term?

of course they will register, CSS is entirely client-sided and you are just hiding them after you have loaded them.
They COULD potentially check every ad to see if they were given display:none; but I seriously doubt that.

Alright, thank you very much.
