Need a little help here,

I'm using a Laptop with Intel integrated graphics and a GTX 950M, which only activates when playing games. Would it fuck my shit up if I don't install non-frew drivers for that on for example Debian or Fedora? Would the operating system detect it and go nuts at some point?

I don't use the nVidia GPU. Literally. Buying a Laptop with a dedicated GPU was a mistake.

Why should I install drivers for never used hardware? That's exactly where my question arises: Will not installing the driver for my hardly ever used secondary GPU fuck the OS up?
