i need to upgrade ram from 8gb to 16gb (want to play bf1 maxed out, which isnt possible with 8gb)
i have this one atm F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL, over a year old, got it for like 40 euros back then.
now the same kit is 60.
so i wondered if i shouldnt just upgrade to ddr4 too
while looking around i discovered that ddr3 is the price as ddr4 whats this shit /g/ for 8gb ddr3 1600 i pay 60 bucks and for 8gb ddr4 3000 i also pay 60 bucks
usually i would just be happy and go with ddr4 but im kinda short now and thought i could upgrade with only 40 bucks buying the same kit again and not buying a new 16gb kit for 110-120
why is ddr3 the same price as ddr4?
does ddr4 kinda suck and everybody wants ddr3? i dont get it
