LOL, you call that poorfag? You've got a PlayStation! My computer costs the same as that fucking thing in 2009, hand the only upgrade I could afford was an SSD in those 7 years. I'm running an 1156 pin Core i3.

My receiver is a Christmas gift from 2001, along with the speakers. The keyboard was a Christmas gift 2 years ago from my work, mouse pad and mouse were gifts from this year (company part was on Wed). I literally own nothing of value except the things that were bought for me.

I wish I could afford a game station or a guitar. I wish I had time for either.

TL;DR - I'm joking about the angst I feel. I have a really great life, with a good home and heat. I may not have a lot, but I don't know what it means to be poor either.

I'm using a LG G4 and tweaking some colors using Camera Raw on Photoshop. There was actually some arguing last thread about editing and what not, so I guess I can also post the original unedited picture to show what I change, which is basically contrast, highlight and shadows, which brings it a lot closer to how it actually looks in person.

I have a strong dislike for razer keyboards but with those keycaps it's more or less salvaged. Having a monitor mount and neatly tied off cables is a big +. Your shelf/rack is awesome too.

I kind of want to buy a TV. I stopped watching it back around 2005 and so have never owned anything but <27" monitors. Even now I almost never watch any video based media but it would be nice to play some games on a large screen with a controller in bed I suppose.

Unlike ikeas cheaper tables, made out of cardboard, this is solid particle board inside, so it doesn't sag by itself.
I don't lift myself up with the table, pushing the middle down, so I can't say what happens if you do that.
So I don't need an extra leg.

It's called composition.
The warm lighting from the lamp and behind his monitor contrast the bluer lighting of basically everything else. The blue light under his desk being the most prominent of these. The colors in general all work together. His white walls contrast the black desk and the bulk of the lighting being a cool white gives a general "elegant" feel.
He was using the rule of thirds very intentionally. Pic in next post will be related.

Yup thats one of the biggest things why redo the wheel when your already works good? Comes down to there has to be a push for linux on the desktop in the mass market through a company. I mean literally most servers, NAS drives, and other electronics all use linux in the enterprise environment. Yeah, I was considering that, but I think the lights being white are better for the purpose I set them up, which is mainly lighting up my shelf and figures, and it looks nice as white. They also have a nice contrast with the yellow light on the desk.

you should for sure! while the beats are amazing in those albums imo, you really need to pay attention to the lyrics to fully appreciate them. maybe use rapgenius and read through the annotations aswell.

Yeah, that's kinda my "issue" with them. The main reason I got into hiphop was because of the beats, since there was a big overlap happening with the electronic stuff I used to listen to and hiphop beats a while ago. It's not that I don't care about lyrics, but as you said, they're a big part of why those albums are good, though they're not really what I enjoy. I will try to listen to those albums again while paying some more attention to that.
