I've been using an Android phone with 512MB RAM for ahwhile and anything other than browsing heavier sites hasn't been much of an issue. With 1GB phones there's no issues at all. Had an iPhone 6 when it was new and got bored of it fairly quick due to limited App Store apps after upgrading from a Samsung S4.

Now using a Oneplus X.

That said the iPhone 6 was good when the Fallout Shelter came out and was iOS only for a while.

My Oneplus X can play that easily and not get as hot as my iPhone 6.

I recently downloaded an app from the play store called "SSD Boost", it claimed to extend the life of your phone's flash storage by reducing the number of writes on it (sounds like a total meme I know)
The thing is that most people were saying that it really decreased overheating and increased battery life, so out of curiosity I downloaded and it is really helpful actually. LG probably has some process running on the background or smth
