I dont use launchers, I just press super/windows key and type the program. Way faster for me.

Pinning thunar specifically is kinda iffy for some reason, you need to edit the shortcut afterwards. No other program gave me such an issue.
Any other file manager (SpaceFM, PCManFM...) works without problems however.
