I'm gonna start studying CS Next year as my second career. Can you recommend me some math/algebra/physics book which can help me no matter the university?
Thanks

Concrete Mathematics by Donald Knuth
You wont believe me but I already have this one in original japanese
>CS
The only book you'll ever need
How familiar are you with Calculus?
That one discrete mathematics textbook that every school seems to use.
Morris Kline: Calculus an Intuitive and Phsical Approach
A first course in optimization theory: sundaram.

Wat
It's pretty useful as a reference.
Thanks for the replies. Why study concrete maths if every currĂculum I see for cs for the first course contains discrete maths?
Also my last calculus contacto was before univ. 6 years ago, but I know the basic stuff.

Are you referring to early transcendental?
Now that I think so, is actually Concrete Math a thing?
Is the Knuth's book about discrete math anyway? Tricky bastard, this Knuck?

concrete = discrete + continuous
It's not an actual field, but the authors try to put a bit of a spin on discrete math by studying the continuous analogs of discrete structures and vice versa.
