It's cheap but several points:
- You don't really want to write Unity games in JS. Use C# for scripts.
- Books are almost always somewhat outdated due to the time it takes to publish, etc. Keep this in mind if stuff doesn't work 100% as presented.
- All the info you're gonna find is already available online for free (and it's continually updated).

The main reason to buy book bundles is for the convenient e-reader formats if you own an e-reader.
I don't enjoy reading full size textbooks pdfs on a computer screen.
