Is Zen a joke or a force Intel should be cautious about? I'm looking at making a Summit Ridge based computer because I would love to have a powerful computer and upgrade from a i3 2350m. Im looking at the AMD option due to AMD being the cheaper of the bunch most of the time. If either company has a CPU that can outperform the other at the same price, I will go with it.

You should take Zen seriously. They did a demo and IIRC a summit ridge 8C/16t cpu beat the 6900k by 5 seconds. This is massive for AMD and consumers because it means intel will have to stop being jews
