AMD Vega scores are in - 10% faster than stock 1080 Founders Edition, slower than Titan X.
Another Massive Disappointment.
Yeah and its 5x slower in OpenGL thanks to AyyMDs curry drivers
Price?

I could say the same about dx12 and vulkan :^)
Better hope AMD pays off more devs to use their open sores GPUopen to make all games run like shit

Current prediction is that it's below 1080 in DX11, and above 1080 in DX12. And remember this is with HBM2 memory; while Nvidia cards still only use GDDR5(X).
Which means that Vega will get raped by the 1080 Ti. Exact same situation as how the Fury ended up against the 980 Ti.
Got any actual source? And please don't link some curry/mudslim gossip website. I guess it's gonna be more expensive than 1080 since it's a fucking HBM2 card?

Alright. I can read German and 70 fps at 4k in ultra on a game that is so far up AMD's arse is good, but not that good. Really if anything I'm more interested in their passive cooled accelerators.

This is the small Vega chip. Vega 10. They have the server big chip ready, and that it theoretically better than the titan. The desktop version is hush hush.
So far it looks good. If the small chip is + - 10% a 1080 and big chip is as good or better than the Titan, AMD will definitely see some gains. The cards will be aggresively priced if they are almost as good or just a bit better. If they turn out much better expect higher prices.

Actually it's horrible. It means that this card will be on par with the 1080 in anything else, possibly even worse. Unless it'll cost something like $350 max, it'll be a very bad choice.
>Really if anything I'm more interested in their passive cooled accelerators.
Those are meant for server racks with huge airflow, not something you put in your fractal design R5.

I understand it anon. I'm still looking forward to AMD competing with Nvidia and Intel when it comes to computing and server solutions.

that's VEGA10 though. VEGA11 will destroy nvidia
