Any decent tablets exist these days that won't shit themselves when you try and force (primarily) desktop GNU+Linux variants onto them?

Does /g/ do this? How close to freedom can you get?
Do any Stallman approved distros function* on tablets at all?
(*: including working graphics acceleration, Wi-Fi etc.)
