Building a new rig. Should I go with the i5 6600 or the i5 6600K?

Kill yourself
What's so bad about it?
Only if you want to overclock also go with a 4+gb version
>>57950709
Nothing. It just has less cores and a lower clock compared to the 6 gig version.
Also: If you want to overclock, get the 6600k. If you're not going to, get the 6600.
whats the price diff btw the two processors? and get RX 480 if you can afford that instead

the 1060 should be able to play most new games on high-Ultra though, or won't it?
The difference is about 30 bucks and the fact that there's no cpu cooler with the K version
Since i will probably be playing everything on 1080p and not on 1440p it still is a good choice, right?

>no cpu cooler with the K version
How does that matter?
You wouldn't dare to use the stock cooler anyway, would you?
>>57950889
since I'm actually building my first pc i was intending to use the stock one. I'll get the K then with a cooler
