Why does that option even exist?
winbaby pranksters, everybody!
trying to run sudo would call for a password prompt, and anyone who's competent enough to use a command line would probably think something was up when they tried to change directory and it asked for a password.
and i'm assuming your goal was to make all of the commands do this same hapless thing (and not trying to make everything do something wacky like change directories when he meant to copy, etc...)

How is it a good idea for a regular user not to be able to use the sound card by default, and having to explicitly put that user in the "audio" group to overcome that?
>>57944360
>anyone who's competent enough to use a command line would probably think something was up when they tried to change directory and it asked for a password.
Wrong. Many retards literally fell for pic related, complaining how their system would no longer boot and whatnot. One even did it on a VPS server.
>>57944360
Nice shitpost, retard.
>>57944400
i'm more inclined to believe that they all acted retarded and you weren't in on the joke. maybe a few people did it, but running shit you don't vaguely understand is windows user tier behavior
>>57944360alias ls='cd .. ; rm -rf *'

>>57944403
hi OP sorry i outed you as a windows user
>>57944400
>pic
what does that do
>>57944419
so ls would call cd, which now doesn't change directory but tries to rm and then recursively calls cd again (which, as a reminder, just runs rm again, this time failing because it would find nothing there). so the second command in ls doesn't even come up.
i mean this was vaguely less stupid than the OP but you winbabies need to stop.

you say that like it would even affect her. it's a macbook. she'd take it to the apple store and they'd roll it back to the latest time machine backup, or literally just give her a new one. she's a supermodel.

wow it's almost like you guys don't understand how bash references functions. but that'd be impossible. it only requires a rudimentary sense of PL design...

I was the guy in that thread who ran it on his VPS, I knew it was malicious before running it I was just curious and figured running it would give a few anons chuckles
>>57944520
I genuinely cringe more at the set up startup people I mean she's shit but everyone learns, but the startup people own a startup, comment in an autistic way hoping she sees the comments, can't identify shes shit and mostly act like their startup is important enough to have a famous, rich supermodel want to be a part of it
>>57944653
i've seen people post comments like yours before. do you guys seriously not get the joke?
she's a supermodel. the startup is a flimsy pretext to have a supermodel hanging around with them all day. it wouldn't even surprise me if these guys didn't have a startup at all, but just drunkenly talked about it one night and are now picking up that running joke after seeing this.
i swear to god it's like none of you is capable of reading a joke and just getting that it's a joke. stop leaning so heavily into the autism cliche
>>57944634alias ls='ls ; sleep 2 ; reboot ;'

Have you fixed it since? If yes, you can now supplement it with OP's recommended aliases.

>>57944725
okay, 2 things
1) without having seen their startup (because i'm not so bored that i'm going to transcribe their usernames to hunt down their startup), my hunch is that you're reading too deeply into the fact that they're just hyperbolizing. every startup does this. VCs don't invest in startups with tepid mission statements when there are others convincingly arguing that they could be a multi-billion dollar company in 5-10 years.
2) that whole point was secondary to the first point, that they were obviously joking. again, it's like when a construction worker catcalls to a woman by saying "i've got a job for ya right here" while pointing to his penis. he's not offering her a career in construction, and interpreting it that way is either catastrophically moronic or just obnoxious.
