What Linux distro has the least updates? I don't want anything but security patches. Picture related
>>
Install gentoo
>>
>>57933100
I'm being serious, but you should install gentoo
>>
>>57933100
Install Arch

CentOS. They use the same kernel for 15 years.
:^)
>>
>>57933437
Literally the opposite of what OP asks for.

>>57934049
This or Debian is likely what you are looking for, OP. They use very old versions of everything until they have tested it ad nauseum. It's made for stable servers
>>
>>57933100
how do you autismo break windows ? Works perfectly on my hardwareâ„¢
>>
Xubuntu 16.04 GNU/Linux it's not as stable as debian or centos but just werks and I don't have any issues with it.
>>
>>57933100
Upgrade to windows 7

it only comes with security updates
>>
>>57934049
>>57934215
This. Debian stable or whatever the CentOS equivalent is.

lol

Linux mint mate edition.

If you never go above level 3 updates, there is no way it will break itself.
>>
>>57933100
>I don't want anything but security patches.
You can configure your updates like that in Linux Mint. The distro pretty much works out of the box too.
>>
>>57933100
>Wanting to avoid updates breaking your Shit by using Linux
Toppest of keks. Best of luck to you mate.

Are you another one of those people who said Linux is better because double clicking .exe files is a difficult motor task?
>>
Slackware.
>>
>>57933100
Debian. Updates won't fuck your shit up and it's pretty easy to install and use as long as you have an IQ above 90 and can use Google. Rufus is the best way to make a bootable flash drive from Windows. When you go to download the ISO, go with KDE. Also make sure to grab the non-free firmware zip. In your install media, make a folder called "firmware" in the root of it by right clicking and doing what you usually do. Then with WinRAR or whatever, extract the firmware zip into that folder you just made in the flash drive. Some hardware might not work without these non-free drivers so including them will just make sure that the installation is pain free.
>>
>>57933100
Obviously new to Windows.
MSfags simply accept this as the way things must be. If they complain they risk being called faggots.
>>
>>57933100
get Debian or Ubuntu LTS, its literally what you requested.

Install slackware. No updates. In two years or so when the next version comes out, install that. Repeat. Hope you don't mind pulseaudio, thpugh.
>>
>>57933100
Stop fucking updating your system, its that easy.
Just stop fucking updating!
That is the solution to like 98% of operating system problems: don't fucking update it!

Having to turn off a system service(that turns itself on after a certain period if you go that route) for that is pretty much forced in my books.

Why would Linux updates bother you? Even if they break, they're easy to recover from, unlike Windows.
>>
We told you to stay on Windows 7 breh.

I've been running Windows 7 SP1 + SP2-ish rollup update for a few months now and haven't had any problems.

What the fuck are all the people complaining about win10 doing? Works perfectly fine on my chinkpad.
Only issue I ever had that was win10 fault is it wouldn't shut down by using the shut down from windows menu and I had to hold down the power button.
That and WATCHDOG_VIOLATION if I unplugged my USB headset (headset issue, happened on previous windows too)
>>
>>57933100
debian stable
>>
>>57933100
That's what you get for buying anything past windows 7, jamal.
