My laptop has shit the bed /g/. I don't have enough money

Just get an 2011-2012 model thinkpad. Look on eBay you can probably get a decent one for $300 or less and install an SSD and maybe more ram and you will be set for any basic browsing and software needs.

Buy an HP EliteBook from a couple of years ago. You'll get an i5, 8G of ram, 128G SSD for under $300. Same with Dell Latitudes.

Dell Inspirions can bounce around 600$ range for solid cpu. Im using an older model and it works great still.

Thinkpads are great. They're thick and heavy but are some of the most feature packed and functional laptops on the market. Thinkpads are one of the few /g/ memes I'm glad I fell for.
