It would be nice if reliable server quality parts weren't so goddam expensive. well the hard drives anyway. Even high end gaming setups are cheap compared to high capacity home servers with redundancy, nevermind the backups.

just buy an amd cpu/mobo, the MOAR COARS is great for servers and is cheap as fug also don't forget you can use the USB ports to connect MOAR DRIVES
