I actually think Remix could be the beginning of a new OS future. People nowadays are accustomed to using their phones, so having a free OS that looks and acts like their phones is probably going to become wildly popular.

That's the thing though, it can be preinstalled for free, so companies will be able to sell computers for a much lower price than were they to have Windows preinstalled. If people see that they can continue using their phone's OS on a pc for a much lower price, I can see people jumping all over that.
