AMD sold their arm division to Qualcomm so in a sense you can say Qualcomm is a spiritual successor to AMD and AMD is really dominating the market.

good, there's too much competition in ARM. That and AMD was only interested in ARM because they thought it would gain popularity in servers due to its power efficiency, but that's not happening, or at least its not happening fast enough to justify the R&D. They should be focusing all there efforts on upcoming cpu and gpu lines, they can't afford to research possible dead ends like intel or nvidia can.

amd is finished and bankrupt, and yet their stock is doing almost as well as nvidia, and they haven't been manipulating it.
