Why would a JAR which downloads a file from a Secure FTP server work in Windows but give me a "Host not found" error in Linux? Please help.
Show java src or gtfo
>>57907558
is there a stack trace?
>>57907569FTPSClient ftp = new FTPSClient();
ftp.configure(new FTPClientConfig());
ftp.connect("******-ftp.*****.com", 15500);
ftp.setFileType(FTP.BINARY_FILE_TYPE);
ftp.execPROT("P");
ftp.login(username, password);
ftp.enterLocalPassiveMode();
FileOutputStream fs = new FileOutputStream("download/"+reqID+".zip");
boolean t = ftp.retrieveFile("api-results/"+reqID+".zip", fs);
Stack trace to follow
First step would be figuring out how 'FTPSClient' works and what it does. Where did it come from? Prolly uses a lib that only works on Winders
I would use sftp btw. Maybe try n find an ssh/sftp lib for java that does what u want using public key instead of stupid pw
Never mind, I guess the service was down?? It works fine now.
