My computer is at max volume but it still isn't loud enough for me. Is there anyway to make it louder?
I'll mostly use it for Youtube.
Thanks

It's better you go see a doctor.
You need an amplifier
Check out a McIntosh 2105

I'd buy that for a dollar.
Related question. Nothing to do with hearing but just curious.
On Windows, with all sliders maxed where possible the pop-up volume slider with visual feedback of current output level rarely peaks over a quarter?

That's what happens when you hire a bunch of indians to do your coding
Anplifier and nice speakers
Even a cheap speaker set with a basic amp in it will be a noticable increase in volume capability and audio quality at higher volumes
If toure talking headphones, you can get little headphone amps for a desktop/laptop

Enable loudness equalization in windows, google it

Get an Amplifier.

If you are using a high end headset with high impedance it will not be enough to power them. I use a cheap Sony headset that was like $25.00 that have an impedance of like 28 ohms and this is about the limit of on-board audio.
sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends pavucontrol

You need an amplifier
and better speakers or headphones
when you buy one look at the "Db" rating
anything over 80Db will deafen you over time.
