Windows 10 caches more effectively than previous versions. It uses your ram to preload things that you are likely to use. Thus making your experience snappier. If you need to use some of the allocated ram for a new programme, it takes literally nanoseconds to swap it out

Why do laptop manufacturers release these cheap shit products then? I don't understand why Asus, Lenovo, Acer etc want to be associated with those products?

This is the "Android effect" all over again. People buy the cheapest shit (even though 550 is not that cheap) and then they tell their friends, co-workers and the internet that the product is slow and shitty, thus people avoid the bran (Windows in this case) and buy Apple instead

The difference between a 550 USD laptop and a 650 USD laptop where I live is like night and day (intel pentium, eMMC storage, 4GB ram, TN panel) vs intel core i3/i5, 8GB ram, actual SSD, ips panel)
