I accidentally broke of 2 blades on one of my GTX 660 fans. Now its shaking like hell and sounds like its gonna explode any second whenever I play games.
How fucked am I? Is it possible to replace the stock fan?
Cant find any information on this in Sweden, would really appreciate help.
Thanks
Did you stick a pencil while it was moving or something?

No, I was going to pull out a cable which got stuck underneath the gpu and I accidentally touched it with my finger and the blades just flew off. Just got a new psu and now this shit happens.

Just grab a Kraken G10 and be done with it.

Is it compatible with gtx 660?
And how does it work?

bump

break the two blades on the opposite side off to counterbalance the wiggle
worked for me

that card is so ancient that is even falling apart on you and I think you should just upgrade the whole thing.
>>57869345
You could get an aftermarket cooler like the Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo II.

Exactly how much of a spastic degenerate retard are you?

>fucking around in it while it's turned on
Dumbass.
Putting any amount of money into a 660 now is ridiculous. A 1050 will smoke that thing and be $100.

>GTX 660
Just buy a new GPU, dumbass.

>implying OP wouldn't be able to reuse it on a newer GPU later
Break fins on the opposite side to balance it.

can you submit a picture to show how hard the damage is? difficult to say without visual guides...
once again i get to post it
break off some more blades so it's even
if you are lucky your card has an even amount, then you can break the opposite one. otherwise make sure the spaces between the blades are the same
here i broke two and so i had to remove 4.
