Yes, there is. I was having trouble trying to get a binary tree indexing function to work that would allow you to retrieve from a binary tree like an array, I was close but couldn't get the recursive function right, eventually I just thought fuck this, I just put something random in the recursive if statements statements to make it compile then tried it to see where it was going wrong with null pointers in the debugging tool etc. but when I tried it, it worked perfectly.

First time I ever had to go back and work out why my code was working when I thought it shouldn't have. When I looked back though, it actually all made sense after, I think I had literally just removed some stupid long winded shit I'd put in and just thrown in a random subtract one from the height of the tree or something and that fixed it.
