it was meant for portable drives, and is the correct choice here desu.

exfat is SLOW AS FUCK but the only other option is to install some experimental drivers for his mac or his pc. ext4/ntfs/hps+ all are much much much faster than exfat

i had a USB flash drive that i formatted with my mac and it was max 4gb even though it was a 32gb flash drive

i reformatted multiple times on my windows/mac and even chaning all the options from fat to ntfs etc.

I threw that bitch away.
