This is my first time on /g/ so I hope I'm not breaking the "not your personal tech support team" thing. I've tried googling the issue and only came up with "how to fix coils" for straight wires, like tangled wire shit.
I'm just wondering if there is a way to fix this back to the normal coil. I can't find an actual answer, so any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

At least you know you're in the wrong.
Borrow a hair straightener from your mother and use it to straighten the cord out. Then use her curling iron to make it coiled again.

That's actually very easy to fix. all you need to do is to unplug one end of this cord so it's free to rotate and spin and then start from the opposite end where the fuckup occurs and just reverse the coil one turn at a time.
it's fuckign easy. no need to use any heat etc.

Unplug from the end closest to the fuckup. Straighten it all the way to the end and it will fix itself.
t. an 80s kid who has done this a ton in my life

Sorry dude. I haven't even read any of the replies, and yet I'm positive you've already discovered by now how dickishly unhelpful /g/ can be towards normies and newfags.
My current theory is that it boils down to the same mentality as the "they're takin our jobs!!" response.

Haha, nah I'm surprised to be honest. I actually felt welcomed.
>>57858048 for instance, didn't make me look like a complete idiot.
This isn't my first trip to 4chan in general, however it's my first trip to /g/. I've been on 4chan for quite awhile now.

If you had read the responses you would know how stupid you sound.

For me, it is.
I only know one person that does it and he's the loudest insecure person you've ever seen.
