I'm sure either will work well for 6 months to a year. Until the GPU starts to have complications from the heat and you need a new gaming laptop.

I have the vn7-592G-77LB and like it a lot. I mean it's no desktop gaming rig but I can play fallout 4 and no man's sky.

It's up to you really. I'd say the acer aspire is more powerful, but it's small size would mean it would overheat more.
