How does Windows STILL not have a way to force close a frozen full-screen game? I could do it before my second monitor broke by pushing it to the other monitor but it's ridiculous that there's no shortcut or anything to shut it down or force it to minimise. I end up restarting my PC, which is fucking ridiculous.
Just go into the processes tab and kill it you fucking mong
>>57827319
>run process explorer b4 you start the game
>alt-tab to process explorer when game crashes
>kill game process
>>57827319
Download superf4
it lets you set a global hotkey for killing the foreground window, and a different hotkey for killing anything you can click on

If a full-screen game hangs, the full-screen shit will always be on top so Windows won't let you access the fucking task manager window.
>>57827319
[windows] + [R] -> cmd -> taskkill -f -im gamename.exe -t
>>57827430
You can't remove focus from the hung full-screen window.
>>57827451
Instead of using the direct task manager shortcut, press Ctrl Alt Del and then click open task manager
This has worked on every game I have played that has crashed
>>57827483
done it 1000 times.
>>57827527
No, it doesn't work. Ctrl+Alt+Del works, you can load task manager, but you can't bring task manager to focus

How are you this retarded? When you open task manager through that menu it is automatically on top of everything. Then so you don't fuck it up by accidentally clicking the window, use the keyboard to end the process. Super easy
