if you're so fed up with firefox and chrome, why aren't you using Vivaldi?
Poor performance on older machines
>comparable performance to Firefox
>lacks features of Chrome
>all wrapped up in a crap interface
Might as well just use Opera.
>>57826251
>closed-source
not even worth considering desu
>>57826322
>much faster than firefox
>compatible with chrome extensions
>ultra-customizable UI, if it looks bad, it's your fault
you don't know what you're talking about
>>57826251
I thought OP was being a faggot but I actually tried vivaldi and it kicks chrome's ass
ublock origin, stylish and other extensions are comatible
the same performance as chrome on slow machines (way better than firefox, a bit better than palemoon)
the mosaic feature is a killer
I'm a proud vivaldi user now

This, browser must be completely opensource. Even if one disassembled the shit out of it, it just feels wrong. A game ir photoshop have a limited use but a browser will be used for work, education and leisure it IS the interface of theinternet.
Britfags will never understand.
>>57826251
But I do, OP. It's not perfect, but it's certainly the best out there right now.
How do I stop typed history from showing up on the address bar dropdown list? It takes up space and keeps hijacking actual history entries I want to access.
>>57826251
Tell me when it gets all of presto opera's features.
>>57826251
Because I'm using Opera.
>>57826251
B-but i do OP.
Two Issues that need to be adressed
1) tab switching keyboard shortcuts need attention
2) get flash to work in vivaldi on linux is pain in the ass tbqhf
I've used it and thought it's actually pretty decent. The non-open source thing kills it for me though. I'll stick with IceCat.
>>57827811
Is it still buggy. I really liked it a while ago and used it as my daily driver, but it ended up being quite buggy.
>>57826251
>why aren't you using Vivaldi?
tab tearing
As soon as vivaldi has Sync im going to use it..
>>57826251
because it's firefox + chrome
Using it right now fampai.
Does anybody know how to make the sidebar fuck off? I can't seem to find it anywhere in the settings.
1 literally no reason to use it over chromium
Still doesn't have the e-mail client and RSS reader.
It's shaping up to be very nice.

Press F4, anon.
>>57826251
No idea why it's closed source.
Feels like a UI hackjob.
Dead ecosystem, extension compatability is half baked.
because everytime i update it something broke
>>57826251
I am not fed up with Firefox though
Firefox is pretty much perfect, only thing it's lacking compared to chrome is instant web page translate features, which no fucking add on can seem to emulate
Other than that I have no issues with Firefox
>>57826251
>fed up with Chrome
Uses a Chrome clone where it's a skin on top of Chrome.
Because I'm not a fucking okra singer
>>57826251
Because Opera exists
This thread finally made me try it. It's pretty nice, but it's slower than Chromium, has a long startup time and Momentum does not work properly with it (the address bar losses focus). Maybe another time.
>>57826251
>you're so fed up with firefox and chrome
I am?
>>57826263
Poor performance on any machine
Also the UI is complete shit..
>>57826263
False, I'm using on a Athlon X2 3600+.
Performance is much better than in earlier versions, and this new Chromium 55 is making a visible difference.
