stop and appreciate that linux users are autistic enough to make two separate font packages for dotted and slashed zeros

Nothing surprises me about the autism of Arch users like OP. However, please don't include the rest of us in this, OP.
>>57817269
I care because O (let's see if the letter is still filtered on /g/) is a letter in Danish and Norwegian.
>>57817269
I do, and I prefer fonts where 0 is slashed but I understand users of Scandinavian languages where slashed O is a thing so obviously they could prefer dotted 0.
Again, what's so bad about having choice you cumguzzling faggot?
>>57817110
Why even use more than a single font anywhere? Everything should be absolutely centralized, there should be 0 (dotted) choice when it comes to anything computer related and we should just see Arial everywhere.

>Arial everywhere
That would be an absolute nightmare.
For programming it is absolutely an requirement to use a fixed width-fixed spacing font due to indentation and spacing and dealing with strings etc.
For reading long texts, especially compact paragraphs, a serif font is a requirement because it eases the reader's ability to follow the line.
For headlines and infographics and whatever, sans-serif fonts like Helvetica (Arial for Windows plebs) is superior.

I think that was the point of his post bub.
>>57817429
Well, I'm autistic apparently.
Which is why I didn't get his irony and why I prefer having a choice when it comes to fonts.
