Formatting my 3.0 TB HDD was taking over 4 hours and was likely stuck, so I did a quick format just to get it running.
Question:
Has the progress of doing a full format done anything? It was at at least 90%...does that mean 90% of the drive is zeroed? I'm asking because I've got a sticky sticky bug which might me lurking on other HDDs than my main drive.
Also how do I get rid of the windows 10 recovery partitions?
It will corrupt any data that you fill in that 90% should have let it finish

I'll just restart it then and go to bed
long format in wangblows only reads data space to find hardware errors, it does not overwrite anything with zeroes, therefore, you are fine
if you want to get rid of all partitions, use diskpart cil util and use command clean, just google it mmkay
