Also there may be other features onboard, such as cell modems, that aren't documented at all. Machines post-botnet era can possibly be remotely destructible with a command that's delivered over the internet, or possibly wirelessly. Also it's not completely insane to suspect that laptop computers could be used to start fires by intentionally disabling the battery's protection (who knows eh?) and it's unlikely, excepting some leak or court disclosure, that we'll ever know what's really inside modern computers.
