Based Panasonic. Of course, Samshit will copy or kill this, just like Plasma TVs. Fuck Samsung.
Maybe the CF-31 can finally get a better screen.

Sony showed off TVs with a similar technology at CES this year.
if only ips panels can be that black, how come the ips example looks so black on my tn panel
Too late, OLED is going to be the go to tech in the future and it's already coming down in price to somewhat tolerable levels.
They should have had this ready few years ago.

Too bad they still have burn-in issues.

So glad people are catching onto the oled meme. It's fucking shit and not designed for longevity.

ive seen burn in on commercial panels but my 2year old samsung phone doesnt show the slightest sight of burn in and its still really bright
If the solution is truly as simple as it sounds, why didn't anyone think of it before? Is it the OLED menace forcing LCD manufacturers to improve contrast on their panels?
>>57788825
Samsung is the only innovator in the mobile space with their AMOLED panels. Stop being butthurt about plasmas, they didn't die because of Samsung.
