Why these pictures look so different with a such minimal distint settings?
The left one should provide a shaper image, but it looks like it has a bigger radius than 1px, it provides a less sharper image.
I tought it maybe could be the 'default', but the 0px one is very different of the original highlights, so i really don't know.

At 0px radius PS treats the entire canvas as 1 pixel.

So, with 0px all the tones above 50% are treated as 1px and PS applies the ammount settings on all of it?

Sort of. Its hard to explain, but thats the idea. I didn't mean it applies to the entire canvas evenly, but you've got it. Instead of running separately on different areas it averages everything.

There's a lot of difference, actually. It isn't very clear because it's only 19%, but if you put it 100% the differences will be obvious.
I don't think that wanting to know how some softwares work is what people are calling 'autism" nowadays.

Got it, so it's like an auto. Actually, i've just noticed that working with 0px is the same thing that working without the advanced highlight options.
