how do i prevent malware on windows partitions from tampering with my linux disks? even if everything on my linux setup is encrypted, couldnt malware intercept my /boot/ in some way to end up compromising it? or is the only way around this just to not have the drive plugged in if i'm booted into windows?
plz assist installnig debian right now but i forgot to consider this before i started

By not having malware in the first place you fucking retard.

Windows can't read ext4 file system. It won't even detect your partitions. Unless you have some advanced malware that rapes your BIOS and infects your whole drive, you should be ok.

i pirate too much stuff so i can only assume that my windows is compromised. i dont have infinite money to pay for music creation software or shitty video games that i dont like

ive mounted my linux partitions and copied information over on win7 before, idk if write was possible but there is software to at least mount and read ext4

Stop watching hacker movies kid.
Yes it is entirely possible for a malware to breed into your linux installation. Having encrypted partition helps since malware can't directly touch your files.
Just don't worry too much about it. Crossbreeding sjw scum viruses are rare

if you had a rootkit and someone was directly targeting your machine it wouldnt be that difficult would it?
apparently encrypting drives on linux has a lot of performance hit too
this is a real bummer, i want to be free from windows malware
theres no way out of the 100s of things ive pirated that all of them were clean for rootkits and the like

Windows belongs to virtual machines

There are ways around that if you have enough $$$ (NSA), just write a NT kernel driver of ext as part if your malware.

i attempted qemu/kvm passthrough on arch but dpc latency was too high and it broke sound, and i couldnt find any solutions for it, and even then the performance was still pretty bad

Hardware passthrough
Literally don't be an idiot and have malware
