>>57680715

At least I have suddenlink and am going to get fiber soon

This
Nothing. You'll just watch some youtube videos or something and you don't need very fast internet for that. Like unless you're going to torrent shit on the daily it doesn't really make a difference

Is your gigabit fibre costs like 350-400usd per month?

No restriction on what or how much I can download/upload. Won't throttle me no matter what.
>>57681437
Gigabit costs $175 a month

Why do you want gigabit? For home office? large family? hobby? Paying for that amount for a gigabit connection seems to be way overpriced for a third world country.

Will most likely downgrade after a while but I have the funds and have genuinely never experienced any connection faster than 4 megabits in my country so I feel like going all out.

If your country doesn't have strict laws then use it for torrent or something. Maybe share some of the bandwidth for the neighbour and them pay for it.
>>57681105
Not surprising
In many third world countries, people didn't have access to Internet when the rest of the developed world was using 128K or 64K, in short, 2Mbits is the fattest they've ever had, or ever had

>Maybe share some of the bandwidth for the neighbour and them pay for it.
I've thought of this and found that many ISPs have a clause in their agreements that prevent you from doing this.
